Comics Club at Sutton High School: Summer Term '25

(no clubs during half term or the last week of term)

For Years 2-6

Encouraging comics-drawing sessions boosting creativity, confidence and communication skills. Led by Mark Pembrey, arts educators and children's bookseller.

Every week we'll enhance our comic-making skills through a mixture of drawing tutorials, original worksheets and constructive show-and-tell sessions. We'll take on technical challenges, including portraits and lettering, and explore the many worlds of storytelling, such as fantasy and science fiction. All abilities are welcome.

Refund policy: Tickets are non-refundable within two weeks of the start of term. If your child misses a lesson, you are welcome to request worksheets should they wish to do the exercise at home. If I have to miss a lesson due to illness or any other reason, I will refund that lesson.
